Best of 2010

At first, I was thinking about not writing any article this week. Originally, I thought that I would not write anything because of the Chrismas spirit and I’d let you enjoy your peace. But then, even I was looking for some new information, to evade all the Christmas stuff. And under this influence I decide to write.

It’s possible that the New Year’s eve is a better time to summarize the last year, however, I have decided to evaluate it now. The photographs aren’t sorted in any way. And their evaluation as my top 10 is, of course, purely subjective.

Everyone was drowning in their own sweat. Clashing of weapons. More than 30°C in the shadow. And I was lucky enough to photograph this view right through the battle turmoil.

Tempest on the horizon. The battle has just ended, and now everybody decided to attack the spectators. Their energy, their rush, their ecstasy, everything is here.
I have many photographies of Tári, but this is only one from which I get the right feeling, as if the motion and blur belonged to this beautiful girl.
As usually, Pavouk was fully in his role. But this time, the feeling from his Count Dracula was more intense than normally, he was a mighty knight and also a captivating sovereign for his servants.
The energy, the movement, the speed, darkness and fire. It sums up the feeling of the whole fireshow.
More of a coincidence than purpose, to be honest I’m not even sure what should’ve been the original content. Now it’s an interesting photo of ginger hair with no face.
Just a small cottage in the grass, lots of grass. Grass with tracks, photographed not in the usual way, but from the TV transmitter on Praded. It was a really captivating view, even through the really dirty glass on the observatory.
They say that the island Prvic was used as prison sometime in the past . If it’s true, then it was a prison with the most beautiful view. Nowadays, there are just some low walls and this lighthouse.
It’s like Draco, one face for the public, other unseen. Not everyone’s seen that hiden one, although many can anticipate it.
Sun is hiding just behind Petra’s head, but even with so contrasting light she isn’t just a silhouette. I have a good feeling from it, and besides it was my first evening with the One light technique.
